What happens when you take a First Person Shooter in one hand, a Voxel game in the other, and squish them together into a single combination?

The answer is: Voxel Warfare.

Voxel Warfare includes...

  • Thorough weapon customization 

    • 6 different types of weapons

    • Up to 6 attachments per gun (depends on the weapon class)

    • Create your own Loadout for the main game

  • Advanced shooting mechanics

    • Instantaneous & accurate collision detection using Raycasting

    • Everything effects accuracy while shooting

      • Crouching / Prone lowers recoil

      • Walking / Sprinting increases recoil

      • Each gun has different accuracy

    • ADS control lets you aim down the sights

  • Basic AI

    • Units patrol using simple paths

    • More raycasting to determine when enemies can "see" you

  • Several game modes

    • Slaughter (FFA)

    • Team Slaughter

    • Capture the Flag

    • Intel

    • Assassin

 

          All of this was made in only C# and Microsoft XNA. No game engine such as Unity or Unreal was used. Made circa 2013-2014.
